Month Two

This month we will look at the Colonization of the New World, primarily during the 1600s. The story of the Mayflower and the Pilgrims leads us back to Holland where they had first fled for refuge. Holland had just freed herself from Spain’s tyranny. Spain’s hunger for gold gave rise to an era of Piracy on the Spanish Main. Ships were now circling the globe, so it is fitting for our Nature topic to look at Oceans. The Mother’s University now looks at Nature Study.
